Recently, the 200MW solar thermal component of CGN Delingha 1,000MW Photovoltaic-Solar Thermal Project has been fully completed, officially entering the joint commissioning phase. It is now ready for grid-connected power generation, laying a solid foundation for achieving stable full-capacity electricity output.
This project is part of China’s second batch of large-scale clean energy base initiatives. With a total investment of approximately 10 billion yuan, it has a total capacity of 1,000MW. The 800MW photovoltaic section was already completed and successfully connected to the grid in December 2024. The smooth progress of this 200MW solar thermal section signifies that the projects under the second batch of national large-scale bases in Haixi Prefecture are nearing full completion.
