In 2025, the annual grid-connected electricity generated by the CGN Delingha 50MW Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Demonstration Plant reached a record high of 1.46 billion kWh.
CGN New Energy Delingha Company, focused on achieving its annual production and operational targets, dedicated efforts to core tasks including equipment management, optimization of operation and maintenance strategies, and enhancement of system efficiency. Key initiatives involved improving the flow rate within the solar field, persistently replacing domestic rotary joints and hydraulic valve blocks, and meticulously analyzing collector interception rates while optimizing temperature control logic. These measures significantly increased the availability and operational efficiency of the solar collection equipment. Consequently, the plant achieved a 3.7% increase in power generation despite a 0.2% year-on-year decrease in annual Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI).
