Recently, the design review meeting for the 50 kWth demonstration project of the “Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for High-Efficiency Solar-Thermochemical Hydrogen Production Using a Secondary-Reflection Tower”, led by China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Xining, Qinghai Province.
Prior to the meeting, a group of experts and representatives conducted an on-site inspection of the project. During the meeting, the expert panel listened to the presentation from the Southwest Institute of China Electric Power Engineering on the design plan for the 50 kWth demonstration project, followed by in-depth discussions in specialized subgroups.
After careful review, the experts concluded that the overall project design is feasible. They also provided constructive suggestions for improvements in areas such as technical optimization and compliance with relevant standards.
