The vanadium flow battery production line project by Shaanxi Jinfeng Vanadium Energy Storage Co., Ltd., located in Shanyang County, Shangluo City, is a key provincial-level initiative. Designated as a priority project by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shaanxi Province, Shaanxi Nonferrous Metals Group, Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group, and Yinfeng New Energy, it is advancing with high standards and efficiency.
Phase I of the project will establish an electrolyte production line with an annual capacity of 10,000 cubic meters. With a total investment of 118 million RMB, it is slated for commissioning in January 2026. Upon reaching full production, the line is projected to generate annual revenue of 250 million RMB, injecting robust momentum into the vanadium flow battery industry upgrade.
Since its contract signing in November 2024, Jinfeng has rigorously managed construction milestones through close collaboration between Yinfeng New Energy and Shaanxi Jinduicheng Molybdenum Group. After obtaining construction permits in January 2025, work commenced in February. The project has now completed foundation and main structure inspections for key buildings including the dissolution workshop and reduction workshop, with interior finishing 60% complete. Fixed-asset investment exceeds 80 million RMB, representing 90% overall progress.
As the project approaches final civil engineering acceptance, Jinfeng remains committed to stringent quality control and green development principles, accelerating the industrialization of vanadium flow battery technology through concrete actions.
