Recently, the bidding results for the all-vanadium flow battery energy storage procurement of the Baotou Bailing 100MW/400MWh Grid-Side Energy Storage Power Station project, undertaken by Mengneng Inner Mongolia Electric Power Survey & Design Institute, were announced.
The winning bidder is Rongke Power, with a bid amount of 19,580,221.00 CNY, approximately 1.958 CNY/Wh. It is worth noting that this is the first time the price of a flow battery energy storage system has fallen below 2 CNY/Wh.
According to the tender announcement, the project has a scale of 100MW/400MWh, utilizing 97.5MW/390MWh of liquid-cooled lithium iron phosphate energy storage and 2.5MW/10MWh of all-vanadium flow battery energy storage. This procurement covers the 2.5MW/10MWh all-vanadium flow battery energy storage system.
