HAMI, China — December 30 — Cosin Solar, a key technology partner, has announced the on-schedule and high-quality delivery of all 20,516 heliostats for the 150MW concentrated solar power (CSP) component of the China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) Hami integrated green power demonstration project.

This milestone was achieved despite the severe challenges posed by harsh winter conditions and strong winds at the site, laying a solid foundation for the project’s upcoming grid connection.
Cosin Solar is currently involved in five CSP projects across the Xinjiang region, with a total combined capacity of 550MW. Among these, two 100MW projects—the Zhejiang Thermal Power Turpan project and the SPIC Turpan project—have already been successfully connected to the grid. Construction is progressing as planned on three other projects: the PowerChina Tuokexun 100MW, the Luneng Fukang 100MW, and the CEEC Hami 150MW plants.
The CEEC Hami “Solar PV, CSP, and Storage” multi-energy complementary green power demonstration project is located in Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is the world’s largest single-phase hybrid project of its kind, with a total installed capacity of 1.5GW. This capacity comprises 1,350MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) power and 150MW of CSP.
