A major project in Jialing District, undertaken by Royal Tech CSP Limited (Royal Tech CSP), is making significant progress. The company’s Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) components manufacturing facility is scheduled to begin operations by the end of June this year.

The first phase of the Royal Tech CSP project covers an area of 67 mu (approximately 4.5 hectares). Core development efforts are focused on establishing a production line for third-generation concentrating solar power collectors, including manufacturing lines for parabolic trough mirrors and collector frames. This project is crucial for completing the CSP core equipment capacity and fostering new productive forces.

The facility is expected to be completed and commence operations simultaneously by the end of June. Once fully operational and at capacity, it will achieve an annual output of 900,000 square meters of large-format parabolic mirrors, 2 million square meters of flat mirrors, and 100,000 tons of collector brackets. This flagship initiative is expected to drive industrial clustering, solidifying the foundation of the Western China solar thermal manufacturing base.
