They also come after the company sealed a key raw materials supply agreement with HarbisonWalker International (HWI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Electrified Thermal\u2019s Joule Hive battery uses E-Bricks, oxide-based, electrically conductive firebricks designed to eliminate the degradation issues of conventional heating elements and deliver temperatures up to 1,800\u00b0C. The technology, which could serve the steel, cement, chemicals and mining sectors, has a projected lifespan of 20 to 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally developed at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Electrified Thermal was founded in 2020.
