The system incorporates the team&#8217;s independently developed 50 kWh-class high-area-capacity stacks and novel high-stability electrolyte. In collaboration with Professor Zeng Peng and Project Researcher Cui Shijie from the Shenyang Institute of Automation, CAS, the team implemented an intelligent electronic control design that enables real-time assessment of battery operating conditions, achieving adaptive equalization and independent control of individual stacks. This breakthrough addresses the technical challenge of poor voltage consistency in multi-stack series configurations and significantly enhances system reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"543\" height=\"279\" src=\"https:\/\/en.esplaza.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0fb1f162155a4fada239c9ae5cb71ef9_1780017602155250.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1894\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.esplaza.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0fb1f162155a4fada239c9ae5cb71ef9_1780017602155250.png 543w, https:\/\/en.esplaza.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/0fb1f162155a4fada239c9ae5cb71ef9_1780017602155250-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 543px) 100vw, 543px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Department of Energy Storage Technology at DICP adheres to a balanced approach of fundamental and applied research. By constructing multi-scale mass transfer-reaction coupling pathways and regulating thermal and mass transfer processes at the membrane-electrode interface, the team achieved synergistic optimization of interfacial flow field and electric field distribution, promoting uniform zinc deposition and increased areal capacity. They also established a molecular engineering regulation theory of solvation structure, which mitigates the corrosion of battery materials by cathodic bromine and reduces self-discharge, thereby improving both the cycling stability and energy density of the battery.
