Over the next 12 months, the programme will provide Aed Energy with tailored technical and commercialisation support, access to specialist research facilities, investment-readiness training, and direct engagement with university innovation ecosystems \u2013 key enablers in accelerating the company\u2019s commercial growth and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rayan Kassis, CEO of Aed Energy, said: \u201cSelection to EarthScale marks an important step in our journey. It reflects the growing maturity of our technology and the urgent need for scalable, affordable long-duration energy storage as grids and industries decarbonise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aed Energy\u2019s modular thermal&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/businessfocusmagazine.com\/2024\/07\/18\/american-battery-factory-powering-an-american-future\/\">battery<\/a>&nbsp;system can store renewable energy for days or even weeks, converting it into high-temperature heat and regenerating it as power and heat on demand. Its long-duration dispatch capability enables continuous, emissions-free energy supply to industrial users \u2014 without cycling or degradation losses \u2014 providing a reliable, low-cost pathway to decarbonised power and heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company\u2019s selection follows participation in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.netzerotc.com\/\">TechX Clean Energy Accelerator<\/a>, delivered by the Net Zero Technology Centre (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.netzerotc.com\/\">NZTC<\/a>), and the Greenhouse Programme by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/undaunted-hq.org\/\">Undaunted<\/a>, the UK\u2019s leading climate-innovation platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aed Energy was also named a finalist at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/storageawards.solarenergyevents.com\/\">Energy Storage Awards 2025<\/a>, shortlisted for the Innovation and Technology Award in the Newcomer \/ Startup of the Year category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In just three years, Aed Energy has progressed from a London-based demonstrator to a technology developer partnering with energy users across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa \u2013 including its first field trial in Nigeria, a hybrid solar and thermal battery system in collaboration with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pau.edu.ng\/\">Pan-Atlantic University<\/a>, providing clean power and heat and paving the way for wider deployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Aed Energy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Headquartered in London, Aed Energy is pioneering the next generation of thermal energy storage and power systems.
