5 MWh TWEST Unit Successfully Manufactured and Shipped to Pharmaserv

E2S Power proudly announces the successful completion and shipment of its first Thermal Energy Storage (TWEST) unit to Pharmaserv GmbH in Marburg, Germany. This 5 MWh system marks a significant milestone – the first of two units to be installed this year as part of Phase 1 of the 60 MWh project. Once fully implemented, the project will enable Pharmaserv to achieve fully decarbonized steam production by 2030.

The cargo arrived safely in Marburg, where unloading and site preparation proceeded smoothly. The second unit is scheduled for shipment in December 2025.

This achievement reflects the remarkable collaboration between E2S Power’s engineering teams and our trusted partner PROmonting d.o.o., whose precision, expertise, and dedication during the assembly process were instrumental in turning an ambitious concept into reality. Together, we have transformed innovation into impact – delivering a robust, industrial-scale energy storage solution ready to drive change.

Sasha Savic, CEO of E2S Power, commented:
“This delivery represents much more than just a technical milestone. It’s proof that innovation, teamwork, and persistence can accelerate the energy transition. With TWEST, we’re not only demonstrating a new way to store and use renewable energy – we’re helping shape a cleaner and more sustainable future.”

The completion and shipment of the first TWEST unit represent a tangible step forward in demonstrating how intermittent renewable energy can be efficiently stored and reused for carbon-free steam generation. It’s a milestone that reinforces our commitment to reducing industrial carbon footprints, enhancing energy flexibility, and supporting the global shift toward sustainable, fossil-free heat solutions.
